About the Ride project

The ride project is my commitment to donate $1,000,000 to the Myelin Repair Foundation through photography sales of limited edition prints focusing on things that move. There will only be 25 signed 12″x18″ prints of each image available for $500 each. Each print is signed and numbered with a white mat and black 18″x24″ frame.  50 8″x10″ prints will also be available of each image with a white 11″x14″ mat signed and numbered for you to frame for $200. 50% of each sale will go directly to the Myelin Repair Foundation until the $1,000,000 goal is reached. You can follow the progress here. (coming soon)

The Ride project will also offer my blog and helpful resources to MS patients and their families and to everyone who wants to lead a healthier lifestyle.

About Me:

About My MS

In July of 2006, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I thought my vertigo and fatigue was the result of an ear infection but after many tests, I learned that I had MS. The past few years have been a roller coaster of healing involving yoga, diet changes, lifestyle adjustments and MS drugs. The only constant in this journey has been my fight. From the minute I knew what I was up against, I started fighting. With the love and support of my family, friends and MS blogging community, I now have a lean mean fighting team ready to do what it takes to put an end to MS. In the meantime, I am living with it in the best possible way.

About My photography

Photography is part of me and has been ever since I can remember. In my experience, I have loved the sound of a shutter, the smell of dark room chemicals and now the immediate gratification of digital photography. When I was at Savannah College of Art and Design twenty years ago, being a fine art photographer was my dream.

In the fall of 2008, I produced my first collection, “Boats and Lines” You can view that here: www.mackaybrooke.com and purchase the images here. With interest from the cycling community in the image “Spin” and my desire to CURE MS,  the Ride project came to life.

I am living the dream.
